ENOUGH CRITICISMS!!!

Legalize it , don’t criticize it!!!                     Legalize it because I will use it!!!                  Many assertions have been made against Marijuana but I think it’s about time we analyze such issues from the other side.  Marijuana is a very prominent and controversial issue in society today. Although many slanderous claims have been made about cannabis in recent history, the truths are slowly starting to resurface. These perception are subjective because I think it’s benefits must also be talked about.               One of the biggest positive impacts that the legalization of marijuana would produce is the reintegration of hemp into our society, and more importantly in current times, our economy. Hemp is a plant that is grown for industrial use only; in fact, he...

IT’s GETTING WORSE

*FAMILY PORNOGRAPHY DESTROYS KIDS* *"MY MUM DRESSES UP BEFORE ME"!* I counselled a young guy who was addicted to masturbation. He told me he can't do without masturbation. One thing that struck me in his confession was when he said: ''My mum caused all this for me''. Curiosity got hold of me and I asked him, how? He said: "I started masturbation when I was 4 years old; my mum has always been dressing up naked before me, I am used to seeing her nakedness. I am not moved to have sex with her, but I always long to see mature ladies naked just the way I always see my mum dressing up naked before me." "I still remember seeing her nakedness regularly till I was 8 years; and my dad do shout at her: 'Send this boy out before you dress,' but my mum would always reply by saying: 'Will my son sleep with me? Stop planting evil thoughts in his heart.' "Anytime I see my mum's naked body, I long to see ladies' n...

GOOD OR BAD?

YES the truth hurts but it’s forever going to be the truth. We now live in a world where people who speak the truth are seen to be different kind of people. There are two things involved when you speak the truth: it’s either you are liked or disliked by the people around you. My question is, IS IT GOOD TO SPEAK THE TRUTH WHEN NEEDED? I think the answer is YES!!!. People who speak straightforward truth are sometimes frowned by the society.                           Due to some happenings in life, some people act in a way they never thought of acting. Telling lies tends to be omnipresent now because they dominate in our workplaces, homes e.t.c. Many people have been put in jail not because they have committed a crime but due to the fact that they have been lied upon. Telling lies upon your fellow brothers can cause harm to them which may be ...

CHURCHGOERS ALL OVER

In contemporary times, there have been many perceptions about going to church. Most people think that going to church makes a Christian righteous. Many people portray holistic attitudes in church premises and behave differently outside the church which is against the word of God. I think there are more to do than being a churchgoer.                      The commandments which are clearly stated in the Bible are to serve as a guideline for every Christian. But the question is, ARE WE FOLLOWING THE COMMANDMENTS? It’s very surprising how Christians are attaining a degree in hypocrisy. Churches which are seen to be holy grounds are now the home of criminals. Some people would testify to the fact that, they get stolen when their bags are opened during worship service. This happens mostly during church all night services. Another thing which baffles me is how some Chris...

OVERLOOKED BUT HARMFUL

One of the most popular sermon preached by most Ghanaians is “ Do not drink and drive”. It’s kinda obvious that many institutions have in their own way brought out the disadvantages of drunken-and also fought for its limitation through their adverts on various media platforms and other means. But I think there is one thing which has to be taken into consideration. The selling of alcohol at lorry parks is one factor which needs to be tackled in helping to curb drunken-driving attitude of drivers.                        Many institutions and agencies have tried their possible best to help fight for the ban on the sale of alcohol in various lorry stations across regions in Ghana. In ‘Sale of Alcohol at lorry parks’ an article published by the Ghana News Agency, it’s clearly obvious that there are a number of drinking spots in Accra being the hub w...
